A couple who drives for Transport America has recently reached million-mile safe driving milestones.
Ron Shrout, who joined Transport America in March 1989, has achieved 3 million career miles safely, while his wife Peggy has 2 million safe miles to her name. The two have been driving as a team since September 1989.
The couple boasts two children and four grandchildren, whom they love spending time with. Ron spends his off time working on his website, hunting, fishing and playing cards, while Peggy enjoys cooking, using the computer and reading.
Transport America, headquartered in Eagan, Minn., is currently hiring drivers, primarily in the Midwest.
