TBC Brands Expands Field Sales Personnel
Tire distributor TBC Brands has expanded its commercial truck tire team, naming David Smothers its field sales engineer and Dave Dugan as regional sales manager for the Midwest region.

Tire distributor TBC Brands has expanded its commercial truck tire team, naming David Smothers its field sales engineer and Dave Dugan as regional sales manager for the Midwest region.
With 19 years in the industry, Smothers previously held several technical and engineering positions with Continental Tire and was most recently the field sales engineer for Double Coin Tire.
Dugan is a 29-year industry veteran with experience in sales and management for tire manufacturers and organizations including Kelly-Springfield, Treadways, and TBC.
“Both David Smothers and Dave Dugan bring significant industry experience in the truck tire segment to our growing sales team,” said Aaron C. Murphy, vice president of commercial truck tire sales. “We look forward to their contributions and have the utmost confidence that their experience and knowledge of the industry will assist with the expansion of many of our product lines including Sumitomo, Sailun and other TBR products while providing best-in-class services to our customers.”
TBC distributes private-brand tires in North America through the company’s 17 proprietary brands.
