Schneider To Provide Logistics For Construction Equipment Supplier

Schneider Logistics announced an agreement with major construction equipment company CNH Global N.V. to provide full-service logistics management for the company's North American operations.
Under the agreement, Schneider Logistics will provide 3PL services, including freight management, material handling management and port management, to CNH's 13 North American operation centers.
A global leader in the manufacturing of agricultural and construction equipment, CNH also has one of the industry's largest equipment finance operations. Schneider Logistics won CNH's business through a competitive evaluation process. Chris Lofgren, CEO of Schneider Logistics, said, "We expect to help CNH achieve significant savings in supply chain costs over the next three years, while simultaneously improving customer service." Lofgren said the agreement represents the broadest assignment in the history of Schneider Logistics.
Schneider Logistics will provide freight management, including: contracting and payment; material handling management for shipping, receiving, line side replenishment and warehousing; port management and contract management.
