Schneider Logistics Inc., the Green Bay, Wis.-based logistics provider, hosted its first Carrier Recognition Conference on Oct. 14 at Lambeau Field.
The awards presentation was part of a daylong conference designed to facilitate carrier discussion about factors influencing transport logistics.
The conference included a symposium and panel discussions focused on the effects of emerging technology trends and increased global production and sourcing on domestic U.S. transportation. Panelists were executives from leading transportation companies.
Schneider Logistics invited its highest-performing carriers to attend the inaugural event. All attending carriers received certificates of recognition for their work on behalf of Schneider Logistics.
Twelve carriers were named Schneider Logistics Carrier of the Year award winners based on on-time performance, ease of doing business, claims performance, e-business capabilities, and integration with Schneider Logistics.
