Saddle Creek Logistics Services announced that the company is expanding its nationwide network with a new facility in Birmingham, Ala.
Saddle Creek is investing in the new space to help one of the company's existing customers, a wine logistics company, to better control its transportation costs.
Saddle Creek will move the customer's operations from Atlanta to Birmingham, Ala. The new dedicated operation will be housed in a 225,000-square-foot facility with food-grade, climate-controlled space and rail service.
The distribution center will be fully operational by Feb. 1.
