Inbound Logistics magazine has selected Ryder System as one of its Green Supply Chain Partners
. The magazine selected 25 companies that have represented supply chain sustainability to be part of its inaugural "Green 25" issue.
Ryder is an EPA SmartWay carrier and Logistics partner, and the company offers a number of vehicle technologies and supply chain solutions that improve efficiencies and reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
"We are committed to leveraging our expertise and the latest technologies to help customers execute environmentally-sound operational practices that make them more efficient, agile, responsible, and profitable," said John Williford, president of global supply chain solutions for Ryder.
The 25 Green Supply Chain Partners will be featured in the August 2009 issue of Inbound Logistics.
