RUAN Transportation Management System Inc. has announced the completion of the due diligence process and acquisition of Kings County Truck Lines, of Tulare, Calif.
John Ruan III, chairman, and Mike Kandris, president of RUAN, and Manual Mancebo Jr., president and CEO of Kings County Truck Lines, jointly announced that RUAN has purchased 100 percent of the outstanding stock of Kings County and other related entities. The Kings County assets will retain their current names at this time and operate as a part of RUAN's nationwide network.
Kings County Truck Lines is one of the nation's largest regional food grade carriers. The transaction includes Kings County Truck Lines Inc. and its affiliates, Cal Western Transport Inc., Fluid Transport Inc., California Milk Transport Inc. and MSM Trucking LLC. All Kings County employees and those of its affiliates are now RUAN employees.
