Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America Inc. has announced that Orin Black, the company’s long-time vice president, Dealer Operations and chief administrative officer, is retiring, effective July 1.
Black began his more than 25-year career with MFTA as manager, Dealer Operations in 1987. He continued in Dealer Operations until 1996 when he was promoted to controller.
As MFTA continued to grow, and in order to use the full impact of Black’s financial and dealer operations experience, the company promoted him to vice president, Business Operations in 2003. Less than two years later, in October 2005, Black was named to his current position, which increased his responsibility further and made him an officer of the company.
