Current members of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association now have access to rebates on certain new Freightliner and Western Star trucks as well as qualifying used trucks at SelecTrucks Centers.
To be eligible for the discounts, customers must be OOIDA members for at least 90 days prior to purchasing a truck and must be there in person with a membership card at the time of the sale. Any discounted trucks must be sold and delivered to the customer by Dec. 31, 2018.
“We’re proud of our partnership with OOIDA, and are pleased to offer its members rebates on our trucks,” said Kelly Gedert, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks and Detroit.
Qualifying trucks include 2018 and 2019 Freightliner new Cascadia, original Cascadia, and 122SD trucks and 2018 and 2019 model-year Western Star 4900 and 5700XE sleepers or day cabs. OOIDA members are directed to check local SelecTrucks dealers for qualifying used truck inventory.
Based on truck model and configuration, OOIDA members may receive a $1,000 to $2,000 rebate on Western Star Trucks and a $1,000 rebate on Freightliner trucks.
The SelecTrucks OOIDA discount can be combined with the All-Star Line Up promotion or the Proud to Serve Veterans promotion.
