New Jersey-based NFI has established a new brokerage division to connect carriers and shippers across the U.S.
While NFI has been brokering freight transportation for over six years, the service was a "value-add" for existing customers.

"There are thousands of transportation brokers out there, but the vast majority of them do not have the advantage of large, established trucking and warehousing networks to complement their brokerage capabilities," said Jim Quinn, vice president of NFI Transportation Brokerage, the new division.

"This year, NFI made the decision to expand this service to new customers, and to broaden the array of services and mode options we offer them," said Sid Brown, CEO of NFI.

In conjunction with the launch, NFI has also introduced the division's web site, www.nfitransportationbrokerage.com, where customers can track their freight online 24 hours a day.
