Fushimi was a managing corporate officer with the Japan-based Yokohama Rubber Company before being given his new post. In his role as CEO, Fushimi will oversee the strategic operations in North America as well as multiple subsidiaries and business units in sales and marketing.
Fushimi was previously a CFO at Yokohama Tire Corporation, a southern California headquartered subsidiary, but returned to the global headquarters in Japan in 2007. He has held several positions in the company, most recently as the head of OE tire sales and marketing.
