SmartDrive Systems announced that Marty Fletcher has joined its management team as a strategic program manager. Fletcher brings over 40 years of engineering experience in the automotive and trucking industries.
A fuel efficiency specialist, specifically in the combination of vehicle systems, drivetrain and aerodynamics, Fletcher has also served as a party liaison to the National Transportation Safety Board for accident investigations, particularly for accidents involving collision avoidance systems, a participant fleet administrator for the Intelligent Vehicle Initiative conducted by the DOT, NHTSA, and FMCSA and a Fleet Administrator for the EPA SmartWay Program.
