Lindsay Lawler to Perform at Walcott Truckers Jamboree on July 11

Iowa 80 Truckstop announced that Lindsay Lawler will be performing at the 34th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree on July 11 at 7 p.m. The concert is being sponsored by Cat Scale.

In addition to the Lindsay Lawler concert, this year’s event will feature over 175 exhibits; a Super Truck Beauty Contest, Antique Truck Display; Iowa pork chop cookout; Trucker Olympics; carnival games; live music and a fireworks display.

The 2013 Walcott Truckers Jamboree has also expanded as a three-day event to include Saturday. Admission and parking are free.

Shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds.

The first Walcott Truckers Jamboree only attracted a few hundred people in 1979 and featured a few exhibits, live music, food and a small display of antique trucks. Today, the Walcott Truckers Jamboree attracts approximately 30,000 attendees.
