Landstar System, a non-asset based supply chain provider, has redesigned its company web site, www.landstar.com, to simplify the search for information on its service offerings.
"Landstar offers its customers comprehensive supply chain solutions, including a full range of global and domestic transportation services," said Henry Gerkens, Landstar chairman, president and CEO. "The enhanced site reflects that Landstar is far more than a traditional truckload provider."
The new site provides information on all Landstar's services, including over-the-road, air, ocean, rail and warehousing services, as well as enterprise solutions offered by A3i and NLM.
Other features of the site provide customers with increased functionality, such as a new 'request a service' button.
"We're already seeing benefit from this with the increased number of service requests generated through the web site," said Gerkens.
