Landstar Systems Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., has recognized 64 of its drivers for their outstanding safety records.
To become a Landstar Million Mile Safe Driver, a professional truck operator must drive a minimum of a million consecutive accident-free and claim-free miles, according to Henry Gerkens, president.
George F. Gilmour Jr., Lawrenceville, Pa., and Jennings "Frank" Neal, Cookeville, Tenn., were honored as 2-Million Mile Safe Drivers, Gerkens said.
