Paccar Recalls Trucks for Missing Check Engine Light Circuits
Paccar has issued a recall affecting several Kenworth truck models due to an improperly connected check engine light that could fail to warn drivers of imminent engine problems.

Paccar has issued a recall affecting several Kenworth truck models due to an improperly connected check engine light that could fail to warn drivers of imminent engine problems.
The recall includes 2016-19 Kenworth C600, T660, T800, and W900 trucks equipped with ISX15 engines and could affect as many as 11,429 trucks. The engine harnesses may have been manufactured without check engine light and stop engine light circuits, preventing drivers from being aware of serious engine issues.
Paccar will notify owners of the problem and have dealers inspect of test the engine harness of recalled trucks, installing an overlay jumper harness to supply the missing circuits free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on Oct. 19.
