Jevic Transportation Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SCS Transportation, has been awarded the RJ Reynolds 2003 Quality Partnership Award for superior performance
in the less-than-truckload (LTL) segment of its supply chain vendor base.

The award is based on stringent grading criteria in the areas of on-time delivery, equipment availability, low claims incidence, prompt claims resolution and reporting activity. Jevic has met or exceeded these criteria for the full year, 2003.
