The average selling price of total reported used Class 8 trucks set a record in January at just over $44,000, according to the latest release of the State of the Industry: U.S. Classes 3-8 Used Trucks, published by ACT Research.
“Pricing for Class 8 used trucks edged up slightly month-over-month in January, but was meaningfully stronger than prices of a year ago, up 15%,” said Steve Tam, vice president-commercial vehicle sector with ACT.
