Norbert Dentressangle, an transport, logistics and freight forwarding company, has completed its acquisition of Schneider Logistics' freight forwarding and customs house brokerage services in the U.S. and China.
This gives Norbert Norbert Dentressangle an immediate high-level infrastructure in North America and Asia, offering its domestic and international clients broader logistical services.
The U.S. operations will operate under the new name of NDO America Inc. The purchase includes seven operation centers in the United States (Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Diego and San Francisco) and two in China (Tianjin and Shanghai).

NDO America Inc. will be able to offer clients enhanced services in:
* Air Freight (Export & Import): Global logistics and transportation services for air freight customers on a door to door basis. The offerings include consolidations, Direct IATA and time definite moves. NDO America Inc. has the capability to handle special attention cargos such as hazardous materials, high value goods, perishable/refrigerated products as well as licensable commodities.
* Sea Freight (Export & Import): Complete range of services to its customers shipping ocean cargo. The company handles consolidated shipments, full container moves, barge transportation hazardous and perishable products as well as outer gauge oversized cargo.
* Customs House Brokerage: Import customs brokerage and regulatory compliance. The services are nationwide processing clearances at all U.S. ports.
Diane Hofman will serve as general manager of NDO America Inc. and be responsible for all
U.S. operations. For the past two years, Hofman has been the director of International Operations for Schneider Logistics. Previously, she was with BDP International for more than 17 years and held various positions including general manager for New York, director of operations, vice president of operations and national product leader/Air Freight.
