Eight transportation and logistics companies landed on Inc. magazine's 2010 list of the 500 fastest-growing private companies.
This year, the transportation companies that made list included Coyote Logistics, which ranked sixth; Molding Box; SNS Logistics; Three Dog Logistics; GPS Insight; LimitLess International; uShip; and Access America Transport.

This year's list measures revenue growth from 2006 to 2009, and to qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by June 30, 2006. Companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent, as of Dec. 31, 2009.

In addition, companies had to report a minimum revenue of $80,000 for 2006, with a minimum of $2 million for 2009.

Coyote Logistics had the top revenue growth of the transportation and logistics companies, at $249.8 million in 2009. Molding Box posted 2009 revenue of $7.6 million, while SNS Logistics had revenue of $2.2 million in 2009. 2009 revenue for the others included Three Dog Logistics at $6.3 million; GPS Insight at $7.7 million; LimitLess International at $6.1 million; uShip at $5.4 million; and Access America Transport at $51.5 million.
