Truck brokerage, intermodal and third-party logistics provider, Hub Group, reported record income for the second quarter of the year on Thursday.
It hit $18.7 million compared to $18.6 million in the second quarter of 2013 for the Illinois-based company.
The company’s diluted earnings per share was 51 cents for the second quarter of 2014 an increase of 2% when compared with the prior year period.
Total revenue increased 7% from the same time a year earlier to $894 million. Second quarter intermodal revenue increased 1% to $456 million while truck brokerage revenue increased 6% to $86 million this quarter.
