Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide, has announced that it is offering next-day service reach between Toronto and seven markets in the Midwest and is also cutting transit times on five lanes in and out of Toronto for two-day service.
The expanded service includes next-day service with Chicago, Joliet and Wheeling, Ill.; Cincinnati; Huntington, W.Va.; and Indianapolis. Holland is also able to deliver two-day service between Toronto and Joplin, Mo., Springfield, Mo., Kansas City, Mo., Memphis, Tenn., and Worthington, Minn., shaving a day off transit times to these markets.
"No other provider offers as many next-day lanes between Toronto and the Midwest," said Jeff Rogers, president of Holland.
