Heavy Duty Trucking has extended the nomination/application period for its annual Top Green Fleets award to April 21. Each year, HDT’s editors identify some of the greenest fleets in the country to highlight in the June issue.
The Top Green Fleet awards honor leaders in sustainability efforts among all sizes and types of trucking fleets, in areas such as:
Fleet electrification
Alternative and renewable fuels
Cleaner-burning engines
Fuel efficiency
Freight efficiency
“Green” facilities
Testing new sustainable technologies
Fleets can apply to be considered or may be nominated by others.
Companies chosen as a 2023 Top Green Fleet will be included in the June issue of HDT magazine and on Truckinginfo.com and in e-newsletters. Each fleet will receive a certificate suitable for framing. Winners will be able to publicize this recognition of its “green” efforts to customers and the general public.
Apply for consideration as an HDT Top Green Fleet for 2023. Deadline is April 21 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
Previously, the deadline was April 14, but it has been extended one week.
