The Clean Diesel Fuel Alliance, a partnership of public and private organizations created to facilitate the transition to ultra low sulfur diesel, has published a new guide for underground storage and tank maintenance.
The guide is intended to provide basic information about how to prevent the spread of bacteria and fungi in tanks and how to identify symptoms of contamination. It also provides information about corrosion issues reported by some petroleum-product marketers.
