Giti Tire launched its Giti Brand commercial tire products in Southeast Asia at the Malaysia International Bus, Truck and Components Expo.
The company exhibited several tires for the region include two combi-road tires – the GAL836 and GDL636. Both were developed for highway and regional applications. Both tread compounds are designed to work well on smooth and rough road surfaces, resist irregular tire wear and deliver long mileage.

The company is also bringing the GT867 to the Southeast Asian market. It is an urban use tire designed with an abrasion-resistant tread compound made for stop-and-go urban driving conditions.
Giti also displayed the GAR850 regional all-position tire. The pattern was made to meet the fast development of modern medium-sized trucks in the region and is designed for wet and dry handling and better wear resistance.
The companies also said they plan to coordinate deployment planning across priority freight corridors and define routes and operational design domains for U.S. commercial service while laying the groundwork for expansion into key European markets.
