The carriers are selected randomly and notified through electronic mail. Companies are required to ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of their data submission. Instructions on how to respond and qualifying exemptions are included in the notification, said FMCSA.
The selected carriers are required to submit calendar year 2014 results by May 15, 2015.
