Firestone Industrial Names New President
Firestone Industrial Products has named Scott Damon its new president succeeding John Vincent who has been the president since 2010.

Firestone Industrial Products has named Scott Damon its new president succeeding John Vincent who has been the president since 2010.
In his new role, Damon will be tasked with leading the strategic growth of the business and its 1,100 global employees.
Damon joins Firestone Industrial Products from Speedco, where he served as that company’s president since 2014. Prior to Speedco, Damon served as the executive director of strategic planning at Bridgestone Americas technical center in Akron, Ohio.
"Scott is a dynamic leader and I am confident his years of experience and extensive background across the Bridgestone portfolio of companies will help Firestone continue to meet and exceed the needs of our global customer base," said Mick Suzuki, vice president of diversified businesses with Bridgestone Americas.. "We look forward to his contributions."
Vincent’s retirement ends a 33-year long tenure with Bridgestone Americas. He joined the company in 1982 as a financial analyst for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company.
"John's leadership has been instrumental in expanding the reach of Firestone Industrial Products to a global audience," said Suzuki. "He is leaving the organization well-positioned for future growth. His contributions to Bridgestone Americas will be missed."
Firestone Industrial Products is an Indianapolis-based manufacturer of air springs and related products. It is part of the Bridgestone Americas group company.
