Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker was on hand to celebrate the opening of the EVO Trillium CNG facility in Oak Creek Wisconsin.
EVO CNG and its joint venture partner, Trillium CNG, celebrated the grand opening this week of what they say is the largest compressed natural gas fueling station in Wisconsin, located in Oak Creek, and the first to open under their partnership.
"We are excited about the future of compressed natural gas as a transportation fuel in the United States and, more specifically, in Wisconsin," said Danny Cuzick, president and CEO of EVO CNG. "Wisconsin is one of the states on the leading edge of CNG infrastructure development. EVO CNG is proud to add our name to the list of CNG stations built specifically for fueling Class 8 tractor-trailers here in the Badger state."

The station's anchor tenant, Sheehy Mail Contractors, operates ten Freightliner Cascadia tractors with Cummins-Westport ISX G engines, and is planning to add more this summer, according to both companies.
The station is open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It has four dispensers and features Trillium CNG's proprietary “fast-fill technology”. The station has been designed to accommodate Class 8 tractors and trailers, as well as smaller vehicles.
EVO Trillium is a joint venture between EVO CNG and Trillium CNG, formed in 2013 to build a network of fast-fill public access CNG stations across the U.S. to serve the heavy-duty commercial trucking industry.

Westport and Volvo are demonstrating a 500-hp truck with diesel-like efficiency — one that also offers what Westport says is a better pathway to using hydrogen fuel in trucks.
Relying on diesel alone exposes fleets to fuel price volatility. Here’s why diversification with electric, natural gas, and renewable fuels can reduce risk.
Range Energy said its production-ready eTrailer system proved it can boost stability, safety, and efficiency in sub-zero winter conditions as the company moves toward scaled deployment.
Watch to learn how Deflecktor's new wheel cover design is taking a simpler approach to aerodynamics, with an eye toward making it more practical for both trucks and trailers.
Aerodynamic wheel covers can deliver small but meaningful fuel-economy gains for fleets, and Deflecktor says its latest design aims to make the technology easier and more affordable to deploy.
When diesel prices are as volatile as they've been in 2026, it makes it tough for trucking fleets to plan and control costs. Breakthrough Fuel's Jenny Vander Zanden has insights on near-term savings strategies.
