Espar is changing its name to Eberspaecher to better align itself with its German parent company, according to a release. The vehicle heater supplier has been the North American subsidiary of Eberspaecher since 1973.

The family-owned Eberspaecher name goes back 150 years in Germany and Espar felt the decision to rebrand was a logical transition to emphasize Eberspaecher’s long history in the industry. While Espar will assume the Eberspaecher name in the marketplace, it will still maintain the Espar name as a legal business entity.

Along with the rebranding, the company formerly known as Espar has launched a new North American website and changed its general email address to info-na@eberspaecher.com.

Eberspaecher North America produces electrical and fuel operated vehicle heaters and air conditioning systems for commercial vehicles.
