LOUISVILLE -- East is celebrating its 50,000 trailer from its manufacturing plant in Randolph, Ohio. The celebration began this week coinciding with the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky.
The 50,000 trailer is the East Genesis smooth-side dump body style. It's designed with a balance of low weight for more payload and heavy-duty strength for durability.

“This is an important milestone in East’s history, illustrating our 45-year commitment to building quality trailers that deliver superior performance,” said Dave de Poincy, president.
Today East has more than four standard dump trailer models with various axle configurations for use in a wide range of trailer applications. In addition, East offers hundreds of different custom options as well as a Genesis dump truck body.
After its debut at MATS, the trailer will become part of the Arms Trucking Company in East Claridon, Ohio, where it will be used in bulk hauling applications.
The companies also said they plan to coordinate deployment planning across priority freight corridors and define routes and operational design domains for U.S. commercial service while laying the groundwork for expansion into key European markets.
