Diamond Companies and Roberts Truck Center Announce Management Appointments

Executive and senior management appointments were announced for the merged Diamond Companies and Roberts Truck Center organization.

Executive and senior management appointments were announced for the merged Diamond Companies and Roberts Truck Center organization.

Three executives will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the new company and report to the three partners. They are:

  • Scott Gill, chief operating officer, will manage the operational aspects of the new company. Scott has served as the COO of Diamond Companies since 1997. Three regional vice presidents of operations will report to Scott. Allan Ash will direct operations in Texas and New Mexico; Dan Keefe will direct operations in Kansas and Oklahoma, and Gerald “Jerry” Schaefer will direct operations in Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee. Duke Fancher has been named vice president of service. The vice president of parts and vice president of leasing will be announced at a later date and report to Gill.

  • David Park, CPA, CEO, will set financial policy and direction in support of the organization’s overall strategy. In addition, he will be responsible for financial administration, the business plan and budget. Park began his career in the truck industry with the Roberts organization in 1978. Park became the controller for Roberts Truck Center in 1997 and CFO in 2001.

  • Justin Fink, senior vice president, truck sales, will be responsible for all sales and marketing for the new organization. Before joining Diamond Companies to head truck sales in 2013, Fink was the regional vice president for the Navistar’s Southwest Sales Region. Randy Smith has been appointed vice president of used truck sales.

The merger is effective Jan. 1, 2014. The new enterprise will be a privately held company and the key principals will remain in their leadership positions.
