Diesel exhaust fluid prices for tote refills and other bulk deliveries increased between January and February 2011, as suppliers reacted to increasing raw material costs, reports DEF Tracker.


The U.S. DEF pump price stayed at $2.75 per gallon between January and February after falling by one cent in the previous reporting period. The Canadian DEF pump price stayed at 80 cents CAD per liter between those two months.

The truck stop network for bulk DEF continued to grow, with 33 new locations. Texas dominated this growth, adding the highest number of locations for the third consecutive month.

The trend toward mini-bulk units continues to increase as fleets invest in permanent storage units for DEF as the number of Selective Catalytic Reduction-equipped trucks increases.
