Barr-Nunn Transportation Inc., has signed C.W. McCall as its marketing personality for 2004-2005.
C.W. McCall wrote and performed the 1976 No. 1 hit “Convoy,” which inspired a movie of the same name. McCall will be heard in Barr-Nunn radio commercials on XM satellite beginning this month.
McCall has long been associated with the trucking industry and is known as one of America’s greatest storytellers. He has produced several albums with his band “The Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant Boys.”
“We feel C.W. McCall identifies with the driving population and can help attract owner-operators and company drivers to the Barr-Nunn convoy,” commented Director of Recruiting Doug Albrecht.
