The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance has issued the 2000 edition of the North American Standard Out-of-Service Criteria.
Items listed in the OOS Criteria are those checked by a roadside inspector to determine whether the driver or vehicle being inspected should be placed out-of-service.
