Covenant Transport recently held its annual Spring Executive Council Meeting at the company’s corporate headquarters in Chattanooga, Tenn., giving drivers the chance to voice their concerns and discuss issues they face each day on the road.
The Executive Council is a panel of drivers who meet with the heads of each department within the company. These drivers are given a forum to present ideas, ask questions, offer solutions to ongoing problems and discuss issues affecting their line of work. "Not many companies give drivers the chance to offer input into policy, but this is something we at Covenant take very seriously," said Matt Neal, director of Driver Recruiting. "What better way of finding out the issues the drivers are having to deal with than meeting with them face to face."
