Continental Expands Retreading Network in Las Vegas
Continental Tire the Americas has partnered with Las Vegas-based tire dealer CMC Tire to offer retread service to the area through a new facility.

The 25,000-square-foot facility will offer new and retread tires to southern Utah and the greater Las Vegas area. The retreads will be made with Continental’s ContiTread retreading solution. The new retread facility can produce up to 24,000 retreads annually, and production capacity is expected to increase to 48,000 annually.
The new facility will service more than 300 new customers and create 18 new jobs, according to Continental. Continental has been steadily building its network of servicing dealers providing retreading operations under the ContiLifeCycle umbrella.
“The partnership is critical for our aggressive growth plans and is perfectly aligned with ContiLifeCycle’s aggressive growth strategy,” said Mike Morast, co-owner of CMC Tire. “With all new equipment that includes the latest retread technology, our partnership brings a proven retread product to the southwest market.”
