Con-way Inc. has announced that Hank M. Bartos will act as the interim president of Con-way Truckload while the company seeks a permanent top executive.
Bartos is taking over for former president Joseph M. Dangese, whom the company recently announced would be moving into a new role as president of Con-way Freight. Bartos has more than 30 years of experience across trucking, air freight and logistics with Con-way.
He currently serves as vice president of operations for Con-way Enterprise Services at the company’s administrative and information technology campus in Portland, Ore.
"Hank's deep operational background and project management experience will provide valuable leadership which will help advance the strategic plans developed and implemented by Joe and the Truckload team," said Douglas W. Stotlar, Con-way's president and chief executive officer.
