Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations has increased Dayton branded truck and bus radial tires prices. In a statemnet, the tire maker cited higher business costs and other market dynamics for the change.
The company raised prices by 10% on all Dayton truck and bus radial tires. All such tires shipped on or after Sept. 24, 2018 will reflect the increase.
Members of the Bridgestone Commercial sales team are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes, the company stated.
The companies also said they plan to coordinate deployment planning across priority freight corridors and define routes and operational design domains for U.S. commercial service while laying the groundwork for expansion into key European markets.
