Blue Dot and ALK Technologies have partnered to develop an app for fleets to improve the driver experience, reduce driver turnover, and enforce fleet-wide driver standard operating procedures.
Using ALK Maps, Blue Dot's MilesAhead Drive App provides drivers with commercial vehicle routes and map visualization. MilesAhead overlays a workflow that manages the wide range of driver tasks that occur on the job.
The MilesAhead Drive app implements the CoPilot Truck application for access to voice-guided navigation and industry standard routing. Blue Dot is the first ALK partner to incorporate the ALK Maps platform with real-time traffic display, street-level satellite view, and weather and radar overlays into a tablet application.
