Barr-Nunn, the Iowa-based truckload carrier, has announced an additional one-cent per mile on all loaded miles to enhance its fuel protection program for its owner-operator fleet.
In addition, new sign-on bonuses are available for owner-operator solo drivers of $1,000 and team drivers of $1,500 -- including any new lease purchase owner-operators. Barr-Nunn owner-operators average 98 cents per mile for all miles with new stop-charge increases, in which operators receive 70% along with paid detention after two hours.
Barr-Nunn Transportation is an irregular route truckload carrier operating primarily in the eastern two-thirds of the United States.
