Geotab has announced that ALK’s CoPilot Truck navigation is now available on the Geotab Marketplace.
The integrated solution is available through qualified Geotab solutions partners and offers safe and reliable navigation, assisting drivers and fleet managers in streamlining operations and improve productivity.
Providing mutual customers with a complete view of driver behavior, trip history, customer locations, idling times, and more, this partnership allows fleets to discover and plan for the most efficient route to get to their destination. With real-time guidance and an intuitive driver interface, drivers can gain the visibility they need to be effective and safe while on the roads.
“ALK is thrilled to provide Geotab Marketplace customers with enhanced truck navigation solutions that ultimately help provide fleet-wide safety, efficiency, and compliance,” said Dan Titus, vice president of CoPilot Truck Enterprise. “By offering reliable PC Miler based truck navigation, Geotab customers can experience lower fuel costs and higher productivity, resulting in an improved bottom line.”
CoPilot Truck offers PC Miler routing. Map data is stored on the device, eliminating the need for customers to rely on mobile data downloads for navigation and routing. The solution offers an intuitive interface, non-distracting guidance views, truck specific POIs, to help fleets improve customer service, safety, and driver retention.
The Geotab Marketplace provides an extensive ecosystem of valuable business focused applications and add-ons, helping customers add value to their Geotab fleet management solution. Launched in 2015 as a complement to the MyGeotab platform, the Marketplace is currently used by more than 14,000 Geotab customers.

Speaking at the TMC Annual Meeting in Nashville, ATA President Chris Spear said trucking faces mounting pressure from rising fuel prices, geopolitical instability, and uncertainty around trade policy.
