The move puts AMX near a major U.S. distribution hub where Home Depot and Delta Airlines are all located.
“Building a relationship face-to-face goes a long way,” said Edward Berry, vice president of business development. “We want to be closer to customers and carriers opening warehouses in Atlanta, one of the hottest freight markets in the U.S. We need a dedicated team to help.”
The new Atlanta office is located near Sun Trust Park in Cob County. The 4,700 square foot office is expected to add up to 50 or more employees in the Atlanta area in the next several years. In addition to this new sales office, AMX has logistics offices in Savannah, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama and a trucking office and yard in Ashford, Alabama.
