First Fleet Inc., Murfreesboro, Tenn., announced that two of its drivers, William Womac and John Cole, have each achieved 2 million safe miles driven.
FirstFleet Inc. provides dedicated fleet, truckload and carrier management services across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Womac and Cole were recognized for their safety accomplishments in a special awards ceremony in Cleveland, Tenn. last month.
Womac, who has been with FirstFleet since 1988, said, “Patience is the key to safe driving. There’s no need to get in a hurry. Take your time and be careful. It works for me.”
“Safe driving is an attitude,” said Cole, who has also been with FirstFleet since 1988. “You practice it, and work at it every day. I’m always aware of the other drivers, and how they can affect me.”
Womac and Cole work for Peyton’s dedicated account, which is a division of Kroger food stores.
