. OverDrive AGM 31, a heavy-duty cycling battery, can provide power for heating, air and on-board instruments when truck engines are turned off.
Working in conjunction with an auxiliary power unit, the battery has excellent recharge efficiency while driving, the company says. Other features include Trojan's durable polypropylene case, flame arrestor pressure vent, and removable carrying handles for easy lifting and installation. The battery also includes a 30-month warranty.
"The battery is a critical component of any electrical APU and Trojan's OverDrive AGM 31 allows customers to obtain the real benefits of their investment: a long-lasting reliable anti-idling solution, better environment and increasing profits," said Elke Hirschman, vice president of marketing for Trojan Battery.
