Transite Technology has launched My Freight Portal-3PL, a solution that helps logistics companies manage costs and profits for each transaction.
"We've been listening to our 3PL and broker customers," said Geoff Comrie, CEO of Transite. "They wanted a 3PL version of My Freight Portal that had specific features to improve their business processes, help build customer loyalty, and grow revenues and profits. And, it had to be cost-effective, simple and quick."
The new system allows companies to incorporate financial data related to their transportation into existing accounting packages. The system includes reports such as customer activity levels, financials, and patterns of carrier selection.
My Freight Portal-3PL also integrates into customers' systems such as ERP, eCommerce or a website, so they can manage and automate all aspects of the logistics lifecycle. Customers can search for the lowest carrier rate including transit times and receive real-time tracking and shipping visibility.
