Trans Ag Group has released Saniguard, a new EPA-approved sanitizing fogger for tractor-trailers that can be used to mitigate the risks of cross contamination and contribute to food safety.


Saniguard, which dries on contact and requires no wiping, can kill 99.9 percent of germs, bacteria, viruses, fungi and mold.

"Any steps that a company can take to safeguard the quality and integrity of the food supply is good for business, but most importantly good for consumers," said Tommy Chase, marketing director for Trans Ag.

There are currently no rules to regulate truck sanitization or the use of trucks to haul various types of commodities. An 8-ounce can of Saniguard can sanitize from start to finish within about 20 minutes.
