Thermo King Adds Closed Loop Cooling to TriPac Options
Thermo King has added Closed Loop Cooling to its list of options for the TriPac Hybrid Auxiliary Idle Reduction and Temperature Control System

Thermo King has added Closed Loop Cooling to its list of options for the TriPac Hybrid Auxiliary Idle Reduction and Temperature Control System.
The Closed Loop Cooling option allows the TriPac system to run independently of the tractor engine coolant, while still charging the battery. In addition, using the new option, the TriPac system can supply voltage for temporary tractor operation in case of tractor charging system failure.
"Closed Loop Cooling is a direct result of listening to our customers and developing innovative solutions that meet their needs," said Dwayne Cowan, APU product manager for Thermo King. "This option will be a nice feature for customers who frequently run where the average low temperature is above 32 degrees, and it adds to the breath of options available for the market-leading TriPac system."
The option can be ordered with the TriPac system or as an aftermarket option from Thermo King dealers.
