Tenstreet has restructured its product offerings to include a new small business edition of its patented software for free.
The new Basic Version, which is available free-of-charge, provides fleets with up to approximately 200 trucks with the basic functions needed to improve the recruiting of company drivers.
"Hundreds of thousands of drivers have used this technology, which was previously available only to the larger carriers," said Craig Johnson, chief executive officer of Tenstreet. "Now anyone can use it, and we decided now would be a great time to make this available. That's because we are doing this, in part, to support the smaller carriers that need a better way to recruit drivers but can't afford it in this down economy."
Access to the Tenstreet Basic Version is available at http://www.tenstreet.com/level and includes:
* A customized application page with Tenstreet's popular digitized signature feature that eliminates faxing and streamlines the collection of drug and alcohol releases.
* A gap detection feature that ensures completed applications includes all necessary documentation, including employment history, safety history, and other data validation.
* The e-mail delivery of all driver applications.
"We know that there are literally thousands of fleets that are currently operating in North America with less than 200 trucks," added Johnson. "The Basic Version allows these fleets to take advantage of our transportation-specific technologies, which are similar to what some of our biggest customers like Prime, CRST, and FFE Transportation are using."
In addition to the Basic Version, Tenstreet also offers a Professional Version and an Enterprise Version. Professional includes all of the Basic functions, as well as Web-based application tracking, telephone support, workflow management features, and the option to purchase background check integration. Enterprise includes everything within the Professional option, as well as the ability to use the software to improve the hiring process of all personnel positions within a fleet, advanced management reports, additional customization options, and more.
Tenstreet was established in 2006, and currently works with a wide range of private and for-hire trucking fleets throughout North America. Tenstreet focuses its sales and marketing efforts entirely within the trucking industry, and is committed to providing world-class, customer-specific solutions that help fleets recruit, hire and retain drivers.
