Extended warranty coverage is now available for Spicer heavy-duty and medium-duty steer axles through the Roadranger organization.
The coverage is available for both standard-duty and severe-duty applications in gross axle weight ratings from 6,000 - 24,000 pounds, and includes complete parts and labor for all warranty work.
Plans are available for one or two years of additional coverage; are fully transferable to subsequent owners; and may be purchased online at www.Roadranger.com or included in the cost of financing a new vehicle. When repairs are required, the plans also ensure the use of only genuine Spicer components.
"Another important feature of the Roadranger extended warranties is the fact that service is available at any OEM dealer facility in North America, which includes more than 3,500 locations," said Mangesh Ingle, manager - extended protection plans for the Roadranger organization. "We've made every effort to make the purchase of our extended protection plans as convenient and affordable as possible. So for a small price you can easily enhance the resale value of your truck investment, as well as protect yourself from expensive repairs, particularly in these times when you might be thinking of holding on to your trucks longer."
In addition to the newly added steer axle coverage, Roadranger extended protection plans are also available for Fuller medium- and heavy-duty transmissions, Fuller medium- and heavy-duty clutches, and Spicer medium- and heavy-duty drive axles.
