Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc., the Connecticut-based creators of the DispatchSeries Software for Trucking, has introduced FreightBill Express to its family of products.
FreightBill Express gives growing trucking companies a simple way to create professional quotes,
freight bills, invoices and bills of lading with a few simple mouse clicks within an integrated solution.
The system is ideal for companies that don't quite need a full dispatch solution but are outgrowing simple spreadsheets and manual bookkeeping methods.
In addition to producing trucking-related documents, users are able to seamlessly compute commercial miles and routes, prepare IFTA fuel taxes, and automatically post accounts receivable transactions to QuickBooks accounting all from one simple entry.
Prophesy President Edward Forman said, "With all the tools needed to begin the move from a pen-and-paper office to a streamlined digital operation, FreightBill Express will give them the power to excel in today's fast-paced trucking industry."
FreightBill Express utilizes a "building block" approach, allowing Prophesy customers to choose only the features that suit their business. As their company and needs grow, they can easily add new features or upgrade to the next level Prophesy solution. Optional features include driver log auditing, document imaging, street-level routing, and a QuickBooks interface.
Features include freight billing, invoicing, quoting, bills of lading, fuel tax reporting, commercial mileage and routing, preventive fleet maintenance, customized company profiles and exporting to Excel spreadsheets.
